RURAL REMBRANDT ART CLUB TO FEATURE A PROFESSIONAL CRITIQUE AT THE NOVEMBER 25TH MEETING
Members of the Rural Rembrandt Art Club will meet at the PAC at 12 noon on the 25th to change the pictures in their on-going exhibit prior to their regular monthly meeting. The regular business meeting begins at 1pm at the Wautoma Public Library and will be followed by a professional critique by guest artist, Ms. Julia Flanagan, owner of The Art Farm in Omro. Julia is an assemblage artist who has taught art at all levels for the past 20 plus years. She has taught at UW Oshkosh and UW Extention in Menasha. Julia possesses a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and an Art Education Degree. She has a Masters Degree in Education Leadership and is currently pursuing her Doctorate. She has conducted workshops for adults in the Fox Valley and also at the Kohler Art Center. We are honored to have the benefit of her expertise. All members are welcome to bring in at least one piece, either complete or in-process for Julia to critique. If time allows you may have more than one piece critiqued.
In addition to putting up new artwork at the PAC, the current exhibit at the Wautoma Library will need to be taken down. If you can’t make the meeting please arrange to have someone pick up your work. In addition we will have election of officers for 2009. Please remember to bring in your canned goods for our Christmas Project, a donation to the Wautoma Food Pantry. We will also be making a contribution to the Wautoma Library Building Remodel Project on behalf of the Club. .
Reminder: All artists exhibiting at the Wild Rose Library will need to pick up their artwork on November 24, 25 or 26.
